I first met Danielle and Robert in Adelaide last year and we hit it off straight away. I adored them both and Danielle laughed at all my jokes and thought I was hilarious. It was a perfect match really. We discussed many things that people don’t usually discuss on first dates. I knew I was in for an amazing adventure with these guys and they didn’t disappoint. I love country weddings. Even more so now. This one was right on par and included utes, fresh lamb from the farm, open fire, lots of beer and a barn dance to Cotton Eye Joe (my personal fave).
To kick off the weekend we met at the pub (no address needed) where I was introduced to family, friends and the bridal party which only consisted of ten people… I proved myself to be from the big smoke by repeatedly asking for addresses of places we would be going to on the day of the wedding. Things are very very easy to find, and there really is only one of everything.
The day went off perfectly and I could not have been surrounded by more relaxed, easy going and genuine people. I was so blown away by how welcomed I was and how much everybody was willing to help me and make me feel like part of the crew. I have definitely made life long friends and I am pretty sure Danielle and Robert will name all their children Sarah.
Guys, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to capture and share your special day. I loved every minute and going through and creating this blog just made me so happy. I relived it all. So much love and laughter.
You both rock xxx
