This blog post is huge… But I make no apologies! These two deserve all the interwebs occupancy possible. I met Alix over a year and a half ago. We met for coffee where we would talk about the big day. Well, two hours later we had to tear ourselves away from each other! We hit it off straight away and I knew that I was in for an amazing adventure come March 19th, 2016. Alix and Nathan are very special people. Very special. They are both compassionate, selfless, genuine and funny people. They know how to enjoy life but they don’t take anything for granted. A testament to the efforts of their parents and the characters that Alix and Nathan have built within themselves. But what shone through the most for me was how much they adored and loved each other. They were not afraid to express exactly what they were thinking or feeling and that is something to be admired. If you can build a relationship with a mutual love and respect for one another, you can get through just about anything.
As I write this post, Alix and I are still messaging back and forth. She suggested I write: “Alix and Nathan are just the bomb diggity. I’ve never been in the presence of such beauty before. It was a wedding full of laughter and love and I’m just lost for words”.
But I don’t want to give her any air time so… you know. Enjoy.
